Is there a Seedance 2.0 API?
Yes. The Viralance REST API and MCP server run Seedance 2.0, 2.0 Mini and 2.5 at the same credit prices as the web app, with no API plan. Use the model ids "seedance-2.0", "seedance-2.0-mini" or "seedance-2.5"; GET /v1/models returns the exact cost of every length and resolution.
Is Viralance the official Seedance website?
No. Viralance is an independent platform that runs ByteDance’s Seedance models through fal.ai’s hosted model endpoints and bills per clip. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by ByteDance.

Seedance 2.0 for 1080p, lip sync and clips up to 15 seconds. Seedance 2.5 for single takes up to 30 seconds at 480p / 720p. Seedance 2.0 Mini for cheaper drafts at 480p / 720p.
Can Seedance turn an image into a video?
Yes, all three versions animate a photo, and Reference mode on Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 accepts several images to keep a subject consistent. Photos of real people are refused more often than on other models; product, pet and illustrated images work well.
Can I try Seedance on a new account?
Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Mini and Seedance 2.5 open after your first credit pack (from $9). Credits never expire, and if a generation fails or the model refuses the prompt, its credits are refunded automatically.
Can I use Seedance videos commercially?
Yes. Videos you generate are yours to use commercially. Videos made before your first purchase carry a small Viralance watermark; any credit pack removes it from past and future videos.
